Acceptable Use Policy

Rules that apply to everyone who uses Qstamp, its contracts and its network endpoints.

1. Purpose

Qstamp exists to make genuine records verifiable. This policy protects the integrity of that evidence and the infrastructure behind it.

2. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses the Qstamp website, the Qstamp SDK together with network endpoints operated by Quantova Inc, the Qstamp contracts or the Quantova network, and to operators who declare profile information that is displayed on QVMScan. It forms part of the Terms of Use.

3. You must not

  • use the website, the endpoints operated by Quantova Inc or Qstamp for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of sanctions or export control laws
  • present a Qstamp receipt as proof that a record is accurate, lawful, approved or certified
  • describe a Qstamp receipt as a qualified electronic time stamp unless it was issued by a qualified trust service provider
  • stamp records in support of fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or any other unlawful activity
  • use Qstamp to lend false credibility to fabricated or altered evidence
  • use Qstamp in support of practices prohibited under Article 5 of the EU AI Act or comparable law
  • write personal data, confidential information or unlawful content to the Quantova network, including in record kinds, transaction data or declared profiles, without the right to do so
  • declare profile information that is false or misleading, or that relates to a system you do not operate
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt or overload the website, the endpoints, the network or the systems of other users
  • circumvent security controls, rate limits or Cloudflare security checks, or scrape the website or the endpoints by automated means at a volume that burdens them
  • submit transactions designed to degrade the network for other users
  • introduce malicious code, including through contracts deployed to the network
  • impersonate Quantova Inc, or present an unofficial contract deployment as the official Qstamp contract
  • use the trademarks of Quantova Inc other than as permitted by the Terms of Use

4. Security research

Good faith security research that complies with the Security and Disclosure policy is permitted.

5. Enforcement

Quantova Inc may investigate suspected breaches of this policy. It may block IP addresses, restrict or suspend access to the website and to the endpoints it operates, and report unlawful activity to the competent authorities.

Data already written to the Quantova network cannot be removed by Quantova Inc.

6. Reporting misuse

Misuse can be reported to [email protected]. Please describe what you have observed and include any transaction identifiers, account addresses or links that will help us to investigate.

7. Changes

We may update this policy by publishing a new version on this page with a new effective date.
